Zombie Thanksgiving

I remember spending all of Public Safety one day in 03 drawing this one. Great idea, I'd say. Ole Puritan Joe stomping the undead before they have a feast of their own on the most glorious Thanksgiving. Holiday's a bunch of crap, but popular media and your teachers breed it into your womb-like skull, birthing strange ideas that people had time to sit around eating large meals (right before the lethal Winter) with the Indian populations that were being wiped out by plagues brought on earlier by the explorers/slavers. Funny stuff.

This was proof positive that I was into zombies back in 2003, which backs up my posit that I was into zombies and then slowly worked out of them, just to have them shoved back into my face the next year as the media adopted zombie everything into their shit-tastic destructive movies, comics, books, whatever. I'm still into them, more so than any other person out there, but god damn if making it a popular fad doesn't dull things. Always happens with things I like...
